KeptDee helps you keep track of items with important dates, such as due dates, expiry dates, renewal dates, warranties, bills, subscriptions, and documents. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information.
Summary
KeptDee is designed as a local-first app. The app does not require an account, does not use cloud sync, and does not sell your data. The information you enter is stored on your device unless you choose to share it outside the app using your device's own features.
Information You Provide
You may choose to save the following information in the app:
- Item names, item types, due dates, start dates, notes, source or vendor details, and reminder settings.
- Product photos or document photos that you choose to attach to an item.
- App settings, such as language and theme preferences.
This information is used only to provide the app's item tracking, reminder, image attachment, settings, archive, delete, and reset features.
Permissions
KeptDee may request these device permissions only when needed:
- Notifications: to send local reminder alerts for items you choose to track.
- Camera or Photos: to let you attach product or document images to an item.
You can deny these permissions. Denying notification permission does not prevent you from saving items. Denying camera or photo access only limits image attachment features.
Local Storage
KeptDee stores your app data locally on your device using app-managed storage, including a local database and locally stored image files. Reminder information is used to schedule local notifications through your device operating system.
KeptDee does not operate a remote server for your app data and does not upload your item data or images to the developer.
Data Collection, Sharing, and Tracking
KeptDee does not:
- Require user registration or login.
- Collect data for advertising.
- Sell personal information.
- Track you across apps or websites.
- Share your app data with third parties for marketing.
- Use remote push notifications.
The app may use standard operating-system services to provide local notifications, photo selection, camera access, app settings, and local file storage. These services are controlled by Android or iOS and your device settings.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, reset the app data, uninstall the app, or delete app data through your device settings.
Within the app, you can delete individual items. Deleting an item also removes its reminder. You can also reset the app's local data, which removes saved items, reminders, custom item types, and app-managed images where safe.
Because KeptDee does not provide accounts or cloud sync, the developer cannot access or delete data stored only on your device. To remove all local data, use the app's reset feature, uninstall the app, or clear the app data from your device settings.
Security
KeptDee relies on your device's operating system and app sandboxing to help protect locally stored data. You are responsible for keeping your device secure, including using device lock, backups, and operating-system updates where appropriate.
Children
KeptDee is a general productivity utility and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International Users
Because KeptDee stores app data locally on your device and does not operate a remote account service, your item data is not intentionally transferred to the developer's servers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when legal, platform, or operational requirements change. The updated policy will be made available in the app or on the app listing page.
